Täste is a fun, ethnically oriented neighborhood bistro. Each menu cycle is focused
on a different ethnic cuisine that inspires our cooks. This season our focus
is French Mediterranean and Northern Italian.

Sesame-encrusted Diver Scallop
Pan-seared diver sea scallop encrusted in sesame seeds and served with
oriental style slaw, citrus salad and a fried wonton garnish $11.50
Deep-fried Camembert
Camembert cheese rolled in bread crumbs, lightly fried and nestled on
baby arugula with a sundried tomato vinaigrette. $12
Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese Crostini
Sauteed Shiitake and Crimini mushrooms served on a slice of bruschetta
with parsley salad, buttermilk-fried onion rings and balsamic glaze. $11.50
Cajun Shrimp Martini
Jumbo shrimp poached in Cajun spices served in a piquant tomato salsa
enhanced with vermouth and vodka served with Italian parsley salad. $15
Sweet Corn Bisque
Roasted corn bisque served with a quenelle of saffron-infused mascarpone
cheese garnished with julienne tomato shells and crisp bacon. $9
French Onion Soup
Bar-b-qued three onion soup served with a crostini topped
with jalepeno pepper jack cheese. $9.50
Salad Nicoise
Romaine lettuce, haricots verts, tomato wedges, fingerling potatoes, nicoise
olives, hard-cooked egg and sliced Ahi tuna loin with a lemon vinaigrette. $18
Caesar Salad
Our traditional Caesar served with house made dressing, Italian white
anchovies, seasoned croutons, parmesan crisp and fresh lemon. $9
Cheese Sampler
Ask for today's flight of three artisan cheeses, house made melba toast,
dried fruit compote and orange marmalade. $14
Steak Frites
A 7-ounce, flattened Black Angus strip steak, char-grilled and served on a
slice of bruschetta with hand-cut pommes frites and sauce bordelaise. $25
Bistro Burger
A char-grilled1/2-lb.Angus burger served on a toasted Kaiser roll with lettuce,
tomato, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and hand-cut pommes frites. $16
Barcelona Pizza
Grilled, thin crust pizza topped with fresh mozzarella, spinach, kalamata
olives, virgin olive oil and sliced tomatoes. $15
Confit of Duck
Duck leg and thigh slow-roasted and served with a casserole of French
flageoulet beans, andouille sausage, caramelized garlic and cipollini onions. $24
Pan-seared Arctic Char
Pan-seared and served with a mélange of sautéed mushrooms, wilted
greens and topped with a shiitake-ginger vinaigrette. $30
Beef a'la Bourguignonne
Tenderloin tips pan-seared and braised in red wine and veal stock with
mushrooms, caramelized slab bacon, garlic cloves and pearl onions. $26.50
Coq au Vin
Organic, free-range chicken browned in butter and braised in red wine and
veal stock with garlic, onions and caramelized slab bacon. $25
Lemon Pepper Fettucini Carbonara
Caramelized Pancetta Bacon, butter, roasted garlic, heavy cream
and parmesan and asiago cheeses. $18
Tempura Shrimp
Tempura fried jumbo shrimp tossed with a miso vinaigrette and served
