Just a five-minute walk from the Mirror Lake Inn, the one-hour boat tour of Lake Placid lake is a most pleasant experience. The excursions come complete with narration as you’ll learn the history of the body of water that bears the community’s name. You will be taken to the foot of Whiteface Mountain before returning to port. The large, pontoon-type craft is comfortable and covered, just in case.
