The Mirror Lake Inn has once again partnered with The Carriage House Cooking School – This external link opens in a new browser tab. led by Chef Curtiss Hemm to offer select getaway packages celebrating the bounty of the Adirondack Park’s vibrant farm to table landscape. Getaway registrants will enjoy the comforts and luxury of the Mirror Lake Inn along with multiple demonstration style cooking classes, each designed so that participants can return home, confident to replicate and share their learning experiences.

Current Package Dates Include:

May 3-5, 2024 – “Exploring the Cuisine of Northern France” – Rates start at $357.50 per person, per night.

  • Rates are based on 2 participants per room, tax and gratuity additional (Singles pricing is available)
  • Includes 2-Nights lodging, a meet & greet with light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, breakfast daily, dinner in The View restaurant on the evening of your choice, as well as access to both of Chef Hemm’s culinary classes.

Chef Curtiss, the former Dean of Culinary Arts at the prestigious New England Culinary Institute, has long considered the Mirror Lake Inn the perfect venue for cooking classes and a focused culinary weekend. Prior to joining the the Mirror Lake Inn’s Management team as the “Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director” in 2021, Chef Curtiss had been a guest chef and instructor for the Inn’s numerous Food & Wine Festivals and several other special events.
