The 10th Annual Adirondack Harvest Festival returns with a focus on the essential role of pollinators. This year’s theme, “Bees and Honey,” highlights the regional beekeeping community and the agricultural importance of bees to local farms. Organized by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Essex County, this family-friendly event is free to attend.
The festival offers a mix of educational and interactive experiences centered on honeybee products and their everyday uses.
Features more than 30 vendors who are members of Adirondack Harvest.
Dining: Food trucks will serve local fare, and the “Local Libations” tent will offer regional alcoholic beverages for guests 21 and older.
Community Support: Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for a drive hosted by Adirondack Community Action Programs, Inc.
A full day of music will be provided by three notable local and regional acts:
Annie in the Water: A favorite throughout the High Peaks region.
The Big Takeover: Returning by popular.
Ploughman’s Lunch: A farmer-based local band that will close out the day.
