Y’all might be hundreds of miles away from home, but here you are at home when you visit our Upstate New York resort. Understand, however, that while you are relaxing, our staff is doing anything but – we are always looking for ways to improve our presentation. Most recently, that took the form of several room makeovers.
Our in-house construction team rolled up its sleeves and created the Lakeside Family Suite in the Lake Cottage (cover photo). This is directly opposite our main staircase into the hotel. The 600-plus square foot family suite features a common living area with fireplace and pull-out sofa, two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One bedroom offers a king-sized bed, and the other has bunk beds, which kids just love. Coming into the main house, we have created the new Cloudspin Room. Here, you will find a residence of approximately 440 square feet. Elegantly appointed, the Cloudspin Room is a single-level studio room with king bed, sitting area and oversized soaking tub with views of the lake and mountains.
And finally, we have opened our Skyward Room, also in the main building, and similar in size to the Cloudspin Room. This is a studio room featuring a king bed, sitting area and oversized soaking tub with views of the lake and mountains.

Both are expert trails coming from the summit, and are integral to our Olympic legacy: Cloudspin was the site of the 1980 men’s downhill, while Skyward held the women’s Olympic downhill race.
