Housekeeper/Maid
We are looking for a professional Housekeeper/ Maid able of attending to all of our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation and AAA Four Diamond rating. We are Lake Placid’s finest Resort. $13.30 per hour with an average of $17-20 per hour with tips.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper

Function Coordinator/Bellman
Function Coordinator/Bellman – Starting Rate is $22.00 per hour, plus tips
We are looking for a Full or Part Time Function Coordinator/Bellman, capable of attending to our guests and facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to service guests to their guest rooms with their luggage and to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our popular AAA Four Diamond reputation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Group functions set-up, break down and servicing
- Making sure group function sites are clean and presentable for groups and site tours
- Assist with Technical/AV/Audio Support
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to check-in standards
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances throughout the property
- Accompany guests to their guest room and assist them with their luggage
- Assist in stocking closets & making deliveries
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as a bellman is a plus, however we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must be flexible with availability i.e., weekday & weekend, days & evenings & holidays
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Experience with Audio/Visual equipment a plus
