Construction Worker
Starting Rate ranges from $18.00 -$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- All aspects of construction (i.e., Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Tile, Finish and Demolition)
- Maintaining and promoting an organized and safe worksite
- Producing a quality finished product in an efficient manner
- Being part of and promoting a respectful work environment
Qualifications:
- Experience with or a strong willingness to learn all facets of construction
- Ability to take direction, follow through and complete tasks
- Must be able to work independently and with others
- Experience using construction equipment and tools
- Ability to do physical work for a complete shift
- Communication and organization skills
- Must be positive and even-tempered
- Strong work ethic and hungry to learn and improve
- Independent problem solver – Must be able to make decisions and come up with solutions without constant guidance

Mechanical Worker
Starting rate ranges from $20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience

- Commercial plumbing, electrical and HVAC

Maintenance Worker
Starting Rate ranges from $18.00 -$20.00 per hour, based on experience
We are looking for a Maintenance worker part-time or full time to perform upkeep tasks and repairs for our luxury resort. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is a good first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge, but we are also willing to train. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. There are times that you will have contact with our guests/clientele and good communications skills will be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Conduct various maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation/air conditioning, heating)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
- Perform cleaning activities such as light dusting, mopping etc. after any repair job Proven experience or other similar position
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
