Mt. Van Hoevenberg and The Olympic Regional Development Authority are excited to host the 2022 U.S. Biathlon National Championships from March 23rd – March 27th, 2022. This event will bring together the best junior and senior biathlon athletes and para-athletes in the United States, with more than 100 competitors expected. This is the first time since 1996 that these championships have been held at Mt Van Hoevenberg, after a huge overhaul of the venue over the last couple of years, including a new biathlon stadium featuring a 30-lane range, a high-efficiency snowmaking system with reservoir, an additional 5 kilometers of competition trails certified to international standards, the recently constructed three-story Mountain Pass Lodge, and a competition layout designed for spectator viewing and access.
All races are free for spectators, so please come out to Mt. Van Hoevenberg and cheer on these amazing athletes.
