Olympic Sports Complex at Mt. Van Hoevenberg

Enjoy a scenic ride to the top of the Cliffside Mountain Coaster – This link opens in a new window. while you learn about the inspiring Olympic history of the Lake Placid Sliding Center. Take control on the ride down and choose how far you’re willing to push your limits as you get a taste of what it feels like to ride in an Olympic bobsled on North America’s longest mountain coaster. It is recommended to buy tickets in advance.

The Mt. Van Hoevenberg biathlon and cross-country ski center offers over 50km of groomed classic and skate ski trails.  Whether you need a lesson in skate or classic cross-country skiing, want to try your hand at biathlon, or take the family our for a day of snowshoeing, Mt Van Hoevenberg has fun for all ages ability levels.  Also, stop by and enjoy the new indoor rock climbing wall with over 1500′ of climbing space and a 30′ top rope wall.

During the snow-free months the Mt. Van Hoevenberg trails are open for hiking and mountain biking.
