Fishing is an ever-enduring pastime of the Adirondack region.  With over 2,000 miles of waterways and countless lakes and ponds, there is an amazing day on the water awaiting anglers of all ages and abilities.  Adirondack fish species include: rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, lake trout, salmon, steelhead, walleye, musky, northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, catfish, and countless varieties of pan fish.  Fish from the Mirror Lake Inn’s private fishing dock, borrow a boat to explore all Mirror Lake has to offer, or take a short drive down to the world-famous Ausable River.  Winter, spring, summer or fall, fly or spin casting, there is a unique fishing experience waiting for you.
